About us and the trip
We (Kate Hutchinson and Kees de Walle) are taking the first steps towards realizing our dream trip: Sailing around the world. The route will start in Europe, heading south along the European west coasts of France, Spain and portugal before crossing to the Canaries.When the time is right, we ill make the crossing to the lesser antilles and cruise towards the Panama canal, visiting Suriname, Venuzuela underway.The Panama canal crossing will bring us to the pacific, our primary cruising destination. From there we will set sail to all the atols and island ranges such as the Easter islands, the French Polonesian Islands, The Solomon Islands etc. During the typhoon season heading south to Australia and New Zealand. The second year of the cruise we plan to visit Indonesia and head up to Japan and China. The site will be updated with a map on which you can track us.
